NEW YORK (Yahoo) - Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams is scheduled to be the first member of the superstar girl group to release a solo album. Her album, tentatively titled From My Heart To Yours and due April 2, is expected to include a new version of the "Gospel Medley" which appears on Destiny's Child's Survivor album, as well as a duet Williams recorded with gospel icon Shirley Caesar.

Williams and fellow D.C. member Kelly Rowland discussed the duet with Caesar. "I did a duet with Shirley Caesar, it's called 'Steal Away To Jesus,' and it is on her Hymns album," she said.

Roland added, "And Michelle sounds so good!"

Williams continued, "And I want to thank, Sister, Mama Shirley Caesar for allowing me (to appear on the song). That was such an honor to do, and it will also be on my album."

The Destiny's Child trio, which also includes lead singer Beyonce Knowles, performed a gospel medley Saturday (January 26) at the taping of the BET Gospel Celebration 2002, which airs February 19 on BET at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The group performed portions of "I Am Available To You," "I Surrender All," and "Amen."
