NEW YORK, NY (www.didiperry.com) - Canadian country music artist DIDI PERRY's 'Are You Foolin' Me Cowboy' single is at the No 1 position on the European Country Music Association (ECMA) radio chart for the third consecutive week (survey ending March 3, 2006, announced March 17).

'Are You Foolin' Me Cowboy' is the debut single from DIDI's 'A Simple Country Girl' album released in February 2006 on DIDI's own imprint Didi Records in association with RGO Records (a multi-artist country music record label based in San Diego, Calif.). 'Are You Foolin' Me Cowboy' was written by Roy Ownbey. The single was serviced to international country radio as the featured track on the Hillcrest (www.hillcrestcd.com) multi-artist disc volume 28.

DIDI PERRY of Edmonton, Alberta is a veteran of the music business. DIDI has been a performer and musician most of her adult life. She has traveled the world entertaining tens of thousands along the way. Her first country single, '90 Mile An Hour Woman,' was released in 2000 and immediately climbed up the international radio charts. The follow-up single, the title track to her debut album 'Dancin' To The Radio,' echoed her previous radio success, as did several additional singles. The album garnered accolades and positive reviews from many key industry people with praise such as '[Didi is a] contemporary country rocker, who rocks the country with style!' (Ted Clarke Country Radio, the Netherlands); 'Didi is Fresh and Dynamic' (Jacques Dufour, RadioLyon1 France); and '[Didi] should end up on the top shelf of country singers!' (Eddie O'Strange, Blue Smoke Music, New Zealand).

DIDI's latest album, 'A Simple Country Girl,' is a collection of eleven traditional country ballads and uptempo songs written or co-written by the prolific hit-maker Roy Ownbey. DIDI lends her songwriting skills to the track 'You Are My Fantasy,' a duet with Tim Mohr. 'A Simple Country Girl' was recorded at Merit Studio and The Song Cellar in Nashville and at Thunder House Productions in Alberta. The album is available worldwide from CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com/didiperry). Additional retail outlets are being negotiated.
During 2006 DIDI PERRY will be performing throughout Canada and the United States.

DIDI is available for interviews and liners with country music radio stations, and interviews with print and electronic media. Contact Dave Brodsky at [email protected] to arrange for an interview or for further information on DIDI PERRY - 'a star on the rise!'
