NASHVILLE, TN (Tracy Lawrence Official Website) - Multi-platinum recording artist Tracy Lawrence will host his annual Arkansas Homecoming, a fundraiser concert Saturday, May 6, 2006 in Texarkana, Arkansas. The show will feature Lawrence, fellow country singer Neal McCoy and rockers 3 Doors Down in concert at Four States Fair Entertainment Center. This will mark the first year the event has taken place in Texarkana.

"This is going to be a great show," says Lawrence. "Neal McCoy and Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down are two real good buddies of mine, both on the stage and off the stage. I think the world of them and we always have a great time together. The fans who come out for this show are going to get a real special evening of music."

The event benefits The Tracy Lawrence Fund, Inc. a 501 C-3 organization dedicated to giving back through community support and service, select charities and special needs. Promoting awareness, research, and education of Alzheimer's disease as well as providing educational scholarships have been priorities of the Foundation in recent years. During his career, Lawrence has raised more than one million dollars for Cystic Fibrosis, fully-endowed numerous scholarships, joined forces to raise funds and awareness for CASA, and funded a variety of projects in his hometown of Foreman, Arkansas including the building of a computer science lab at the high school he attended.

"One of my former managers instilled something very important in me and that is the importance of giving back," notes Lawrence. "It's just ingrained in my soul and I will instill it in my children. As long as I have a breath in me, it will be a part of my life to contribute something back to this world."

3 Doors Down is one of the most popular and consistently successful rock bands in recent history. After selling more than 12 million albums since its debut in 2000, the group (Brad Arnold, Matt Roberts, Todd Harrell, and Chris Henderson) released its third studio album, SEVENTEEN DAYS (Republic/Universal) in 2005. The band is recognized for such chart-topping rock hits as "Let Me Go," "Kryptonite," "Duck & Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone," and "Here Without You." According to Billboard magazine, it was the first debut act to ever have a No. 1 single ("Kryptonite") in four different radio formats simultaneously. The group won the 2003 Billboard Music Awards trophy for Best Pop/Rock Group and Best Hot 100 Single.

Country star and now record label (903 Music) head Neal McCoy gained country music notoriety with five No. 1 hits including "Wink," "No Doubt About It," and "The Shake." He has recorded three platinum albums and one gold one, and been awarded for his charitable contributions with the Home Depot/ACM Humanitarian Award and most recently, the Country Radio Broadcasters' Artist Humanitarian Of The Year award at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. His current CD, titled THAT'S LIFE was released in August ('05) and features his new single "The Last Of A Dying Breed."

Lawrence's performance will feature material from his current CD titled THEN & NOW: THE HITS COLLECTION (Mercury/UMG), as well as other material from his lengthy list of career hits. His current single is titled "If I Don't Make It Back." The album, released in October ('05), is available in stores now.

Lawrence remains loyal to his roots and is proud to be a traditional country vocal stylist. He is a fixture on country radio and in the homes, cars, and offices of music fans everywhere and is known for such hits as "Time Marches On," "Alibis," "If The World Had A Front Porch," "Lessons Learned," and "Sticks And Stones." His much loved "Paint Me A Birmingham" is not only one of his most successful, but one of his most requested singles of his career. His career highlights include winning the 1993 Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist crown, maintaining a spectacular live music show, and frequently contributing his personal time and concert proceeds to charities. He is an active member of the Alzheimer's Assn.'s National Advisory Council.
