NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Foo Fighters, Prodigy, and the Chemical Brothers are just a few of the high-profile acts that have joined the lineup for the 2002 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Filling out the lineup is the usual eclectic mix of rock, hip-hop, and electronica, including Queens of the Stone Age, Paul Oakenfold, Mos Def, Ozomatli, Belle & Sebastian, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Sasha & Digweed, St. Germain, KRS-One, Basement Jaxx, Tiesto, and Groove Armada, according to a spokesperson for the event at the Mitch Schneider Organization.

The Strokes were also rumored to be playing, but that was not confirmed by press time. As previously revealed, Oasis and Bjork are also on board. Bjork is scheduled to headline on April 27, while Oasis handles closing duties on April 28. More artists are expected to be announced as the festival draws nearer.

Tickets for the two-day festival, scheduled for April 27-28 at Indio Polo Fields in Indio, Calif., go on sale March 2 for $65 (one-day) or an as-yet-undecided amount for a two-day pass.
