Matisyahu, The Zutons, Augie March In First Splendour Line-Up Announcement

Sydney, AU (Sony BMG Music Entertainment) - The first drool-worthy round of acts confirmed for the 2006 Splendour in the Grass line-up has been released and once again, expect some of the world's coolest bands to rock this year's festival. Hasidic reggae hip-hop superstar Matisyahu will hit Australia for his highly-anticipated first visit, along with the return of UK indie darlings The Zutons and our very own Augie March.

Splendour in the Grass is celebrating its sixth birthday in unbelievable style this year at Belongil Fields, Byron Bay on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23. From Scotland and Brooklyn to Brisbane and Ballina, more than 45 acts will descend upon our shores for two days of mid winter, musical magic and these first 25 artists from all persuasions who will warm the cockles of your heart at Splendour 2006:
