Orlando, FL (LCO - Levine Communications) - Promo Only MPE today announced that over 250,000 individual downloads have been made through the Promo Only MPE System. Rapid growth in recent months has been attributed to the distribution of digital only tracks from high profile artists and the newly added features of Promo Only MPE's version 2.0, including music video delivery.

Since its launch in October 2004, Promo Only MPE has unanimously led the way in the digital distribution of music. 250,000 individual downloads represents a major milestone for Promo Only MPE. The figure demonstrates the system's 7,500 users are actively downloading music and video through the Promo Only MPE System on a regular basis.

The recent addition of music video delivery on version 2.0 of the Promo Only MPE System has increased download traffic. Labels can now send more material to users and in a more convenient package. Artist interviews, full length videos and biographies are all able to be sent directly through the Promo Only MPE System.

'For Promo Only MPE to have achieved such a significant number of downloads we must be giving users what they need,' said Dean Ernst, Director of Promo Only MPE. 'For the first time promotional songs and videos are available in a central location at the same time. By servicing more than just our customers' audio needs, we are providing record labels and end-users with a complete digital distribution solution.'

Promo Only MPE has been leading the music industry in digital distribution in the United States since its launch in October of 2004. To date, the system has 7,500 individual registered users, predominantly radio station programmers. In excess of 15,000 tracks have been distributed through the Promo Only MPE System for labels including Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI Music Group and Warner Music Group. 2005 marked the partnership deal with Mediabase 24/7 monitoring service and the unveiling of the first ever digital distribution system with Spanish language capabilities, allowing it to serve the growing number of Spanish speaking radio stations and Latin label divisions in the United States. In 2006, Radio and Records announced that they will combine with Promo Only as the exclusive sales representative for the Promo Only MPE System.

Promo Only MPE is the only company to have released a Mac version of its digital distribution system. The Promo Only MPE System is the only product of its kind to feature true iPod support, by servicing Apple's AAC files. The recently released version 2.0 features a number of key upgrades including music video delivery capabilities and linear HD audio support.
Promo Only MPE is the official digital delivery system of choice for the Clear Channel Radio network.
Promo Only MPE is a partnership between Destiny Media Technologies and Promo Only.

Promo Only MPE is used and supported by every major broadcaster including Clear Channel, Infinity, Citadel, Cox, Cumulus, Salem Communications, Radio One, Emmis, Entercom, Sirius, Journal, ABC, DMX, CBS, Jones Radio, Yahoo, AOL, Music Choice, Disney, Univision, Westwood One, Regent, Premiere Radio, Next Media and many others.
