LOS ANGELES, CA. (Spitfire Productions) - Oakland-based recording group, ENTITY, and their Spitfire Productions has entered into a joint venture with D1 Music/Riot Media/Dark Sirius to release their first CD, LOCKED DOORS on May 23rd. The release will distributed through Innovative Distribution Network (IDN), a division of Alliance Entertainment, Inc. Grammy award-winning engineers Neal Pogue and Brian "Big Bass" Gardner handled mixing and mastering duties.

Completely self-contained, Mok, J-Gib and Si'm Styles, wrote, produced and performed all the songs themselves. "Fever" is the first track released to radio and to the clubs, and is getting exceptional attention. XPOZ's Joe Walker comments, "Not since Bell Biv Devoe has a trio possessed such dynamic cross-market appeal, and ENTITY's vocal talents are far greater than their predecessor. ENTITY delivers with 'Fever,' which is a promise of greater things to come."

Their music sounds brand new, but is built on a firm foundation of the most prestigious of musical influences. Si'm's love for the late Donny Hathaway, takes nothing away from the fact that his own musical lineage emanates from Freddie Stewart, Sly's brother and member of the Family Stone. J-Gib is a soulful crooner from Michigan in the true R&B tradition and brings that smooth, come-hither element to ENTITY's sound. And Mok (short for Mockingbird), whose writing and soaring vocal riffs, crosses the group well over into the world of Pop, has studied Italian Opera. His inspirations include not only Prince and Stevie Wonder but composer Andrew Lloyd Webber as well.

This is not a one or two singles album. Every song rolls out better than the one before. First to the streets and the clubs is "Fever," a track that will get everyone stumpin' on the pavement. SBC-DJ's Dj KaRaMel explains, "It will work in the clubs and on the radio in major markets. I love their sound, the vocals remind me of some of the biggest R&B singers in the industry. These guys are talented!!!"

KMEL's DJ BackSide comments, "ENTITY has the heart, the drive and the talent to be the next successful R&B group by far. These guys are slick, smooth and equipped with voices that are gonna make the girls' hearts melt!"
