LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) - The Eagles, Eddie Vedder, and the Offspring were among the participants in four different concerts in Southern California that raised about $2.5 million for the Recording Artists Coalition on Tuesday (February 26). Radiohead's Thom Yorke was a special guest at the show at the Wiltern Theater that featured Pearl Jam singer Vedder, Beck, and Social Distortion's Mike Ness. The Long Beach Arena show featured No Doubt, the Offspring, and Weezer. The concert at the Great Western Forum featured the Eagles, Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, and Sheryl Crow. Tom Petty and the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines were surprise guests. The Universal Amphitheater had a country flavor with performances by Dwight Yoakam, Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris, and the Dixie Chicks, with Crow attending to return the favor for Maines's appearance at the Forum.
