NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - P.O.D., the Strokes, Cold, Nickel Creek, and                                         Trick Pony all score personal firsts in the February gold, platinum, and multi-platinum album certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America.

P.O.D.'s fourth album, Satellite, reached the 2 million mark, giving the group its first multi-platinum plaque. Scoring their first gold records (for sales of 500,000 units) are the Strokes (Is This It), Cold (13 Ways to Bleed on Stage), Nickel Creek (Nickel Creek), Trick Pony (Trick Pony), and Phil Vassar (Phil Vassar).
