NASHVILLE, TN (Jake Owen Official Website) - With his debut single 'Yee Haw' nearing Top 20, Florida native Jake Owen has even more to be excited about as the opening act for Kenny Chesney's The Road & The Radio Tour. One of the hottest tickets this summer, Jake will be on nearly 20 shows beginning with San Diego on June 18 and ending in Charlottesville, VA on August 30. The schedule is below.

'I remember sitting in the nose-bleed section at the Leon County Civic Center (in Tallahassee, FL) when I was at Florida State, watching him run all over that stage and the audience was going crazy. I thought 'that's what I'm going to do someday' and now it's about to happen. It's surreal,' said the young singer-songwriter.

The seven song set features mostly music from his upcoming album, Startin' With Me, which will be released July 25. Having written or co-written every song on the album, several performed in the show include the single 'Yee Haw,' the album's title track and 'You Can Thank Dixie,' which features the vocals of Alabama frontman Randy Owen on the album.

Jake will preview the show at the CMA Music Festival, country music's premier outdoor festival, at the Riverfront Stages on Thursday afternoon.
