Family Force 5 have announced select tour dates on the Warped Tour beginning June 16th in Columbus, MD, introducing audiences to their debut album released May 16th on
Maverick Records, Business Up Front / Party In the Back.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution called Family Force 5 'an unpredictable mix of punk, rock, rap, and funk that is difficult to define...with a lot of humor.' Atlanta embraced this party! Fueled by a lethal combination of Red Bull and bacon grease, Family Force 5 mesmerized the crowd as the headliner for the Atlanta MySpace.com show at the House of Blues, and at the 2005 Atlanta Music Guide Awards they were voted 'Best Band' and 'Best Live Show.'
Family Force 5 formed two years ago by brothers Solomon 'Soul Glow Activatur' Olds (guitar, lead vocals), Jacob 'Crouton' Olds (drums, vocals), and his twin Joshua, 'Fatty' Olds (bass, vocals), and also features Nathan 'Nadaddy' Currin (keyboards) and Derek 'Chap Stique' Mount (guitar). Maverick Records inked a deal with the band after seeing their self-produced video for the song 'Kountry Gentlemen,' which has already garnered significant local airplay.
