New York, NY (Kemado Records) - New York rock multi-instrumentalists Tarantula A.D. will embark on a mini-tour of the Midwest and East Coast with a special performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival. Tarantula A.D. has been relentlessly touring since the release of their debut full length Book of Sand late last year. The band?s melding of classical music with rock/heavy metal has allowed them to tour with everyone from metal purveyors The Sword and Torche to neo- psychedelic Devendra Banhart. This tour will find them playing a handful of shows with eclectic Brooklyn folk singer Tim Fite around their appearance at the Pitchfork Music Festival with Spoon, Mission of Burma, Aesop Rock/Mr. Lif, Os Mutantes, and so much more. Currently, the band is in the Kemado Recording Studio working tirelessly on their second full length that will come out early next year. Some of these new songs like "Priest Bird" and "In Your Time" will find their way onto the set list this tour.
