Los Angeles, CA. (Giant Village/ www.giantvillage.com) - GIANT returns to the streets of downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, July 22 for GIANT VILLAGE Summer in the City. Following in the tradition of past GIANT open air block parties, GIANT VILLAGE offers five stages under the stars on four city blocks of downtown Los Angeles catering to anticipated crowd of 10,000 party people for the first of what will now become an annual summer bash.

DJ sets from major international turntable stars of all different dance/electronic genres will please all attendees: On the Grand Stage confirmed are DJ sets from Deep Dish, Paul Oakenfold, Jason Bentley and Omar Kahn. Highlighted on the Flower Stage are John Digweed, James Zabiela, Jimmy Van M and Mark Tabberner. Christopher Lawrence, Matthew Dekay, Markus Shultz, Boris MD and David Moses will appear on the Hope Stage. The Crystal Method presents the Community Service stage with Hybrid, Robtronik and Jay �Idol' Videna. And on the Deep Stage will be Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt and Raul Campos.

In addition to five music stages, GIANT VILLAGE, with its dramatic placement among the soaring skyscrapers and tree-lined streets of the new downtown, will be filled with a giant Ferris wheel, video, light and art installations as well as an indoor VIP lounge. Out-of-town guests can stay at two luxury hotels within one block of the event: the Westin Bonaventure and the Downtown Sheraton. Exclusive rates staring at $139 are available via giantvillage.com. Doors open at 8:00 PM and will close at 4:00 AM.

Tickets for the GIANT VILLAGE are $75 in advance and available through www.giantvillage.com. $125 VIP tickets are also available and include a separate VIP entrance to GIANT VILLAGE via the Pegasus Lobby, a premium open bar in the Pegasus Indoor Lounge with music by John Digweed and James Zabiela and in & out privileges to all GIANT VILLAGE Hotels. Tickets may also be purchased at various independent outlets throughout Southern California – locations are available at www.giantvillage.com.
