Crooner Shoshyn Brings Soul Back with 'Sincerely Yours'

Philadelphia, PA (Affiliated Records/ www.shoshyn.com) - Affiliated Records artist and acclaimed songwriter, Shoshyn, is set to take the music world by storm with the release of his debut album, 'Sincerely Yours' on August 8th 2006.

A native of Philadelphia, Shoshyn (pronounced 'Show Shine') grew up immersed in the rich power of music. Born into a religious family, Shoshyn sang alongside his siblings in church and reveled in the talents of Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson and Donny Hathaway. Indeed, it is Hathaway's presence that is most felt on Sincerely Yours, which even includes a cover of 'Song For You,' made famous by the late artist.

Already a formidable presence in the music industry, Shoshyn has written songs with George Benson, superstar Joe and Clive Davis' right hand man, Joshua P. Thompson - all while still in his 20s. His songwriting muscles continue to flex on Sincerely Yours, nineteen tracks that run the gamut of emotions. From party bangers, to longing ballads and inspirational numbers - Sincerely Yours is a winner from start to finish. Standout tracks on the album include 'Backstabbers,' which features a posthumous appearance by 2Pac, the mid-tempo 'Love To Love You,' the title track 'Sincerely Yours' and 'My Skin,' which Shoshyn describes as a comforting love song to those not physically with us.
