Sydney, AU. (Universal Music Australia) - Stephanie McIntosh's debut single MISTAKE added at a frantic rate to radio across Australia.

Mistake, the first single from Stephanie's forthcoming debut album TIGHTROPE, is a high-octane collision of pop and rock that jumps out of your speakers with angst, attitude and a chorus that'll knock your head off the first time you hear it. 'It's not as poppy as people are going to expect, which is exactly what I wanted,' McIntosh says.

The video for Mistake stars Ryan Carnes – Justin in Desperate Housewives - who Steph hand-picked to co-star. The video had its world premiere on Video Hits on July 1 and can now be viewed online at www.universalmusic.com.au and www.stephaniemcintoshmusic.com

Mistake was co-written by Tom Nichols, Rami and Arnthor (Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Kylie Minogue, N*Sync, Backstreet Boys) and produced by the team at Maratone (Kelly Clarkson, JLo, Britney). The album TIGHTROPE was two years in the making and Steph had a film crew following her around the world documenting her journey. The result, The Steph Show, is an eight-part tv series that commences July 28 on Network Ten.

Make sure you tune into MTV to watch Making The Video: Stephanie McIntosh 'Mistake', Friday July 7 at 10pm and Saturday July 8 at 9.30am.

The Steph Show starts July 28 on Network Ten
