LSO ANGELES (Mario Vazquez Official Website) - Mario Vazquez of American Idol fame will be appearing on MTV's TRL to introduce the video for his hit single "Gallery" from his eagerly awaited debut on Arista Records set for release in stores September 12th. Mario has spent much of July on the road headlining Teen People's back-to-school fashion and music Rock 'N Shop Mall tour with opening acts Ashley Parker Angel, Fefe Dobson, Keisha Chante, Ak'Sent, Cherish and Joanna.

Mario's debut single "Gallery" written by Ne-Yo who also co-produced the track's vocals, was one of the most added records at Rhythm radio stations across the country its first week out and continues to burn up the airwaves as one of the most played and most requested tracks at Z100 in New York, WXKS in Boston, and Y100 in Miami.

He is currently wrapping up the recording process with a host of top producers Ne-Yo, Soulshock and Karlin (Usher), Lester Mendez (Shakira), Scott Storch (50 Cent, Christina Aguilera), Luny Tunes (Daddy Yankee) and star writer/producer team The Underdogs, to name a few.
Mario is known to many from his brief stint on American Idol last season before he voluntarily withdrew when he reached the Top 12.
