Ruben Studdard is back in signature style with his first single, "Change Me," from his sophomore album THE RETURN, coming in as the No 1 most added song at Urban
Radio this week.
"Change Me" was the most added song at Urban radio with 53 stations adding the song to their playlist this week. Support comes from major markets all around the country including KKDA in Dallas, WBLS in New York, WJLB in Detroit, WGCI in Chicago, WVEE in Atlanta and KJLH in Los Angeles, as well as major market play in DC, St. Louis, Kansas City, Buffalo, Charlotte, Atlanta, Norfolk, New Orleans and more.
THE RETURN, Studdard's long-awaited follow up to his heralded debut album Soulful, is set for release on September 26th. The lead single "Change Me" was produced by the Underdogs, along with the sultry track "Get U Loose." Studdard produced "If Only For One Night," (a remake of the Brenda Russell song which was a hit for Luther Vandross) and co-wrote "I'm Not Happy," "Blow Ya Mind," and "To Tha Crib." The album is rounded out with more superior mid tempo tracks and signature ballads: "The Return (of The Velvet Bear)," "Our Story," "What Tha Business Is," "Rather Just Not Know", "Go Home To Ya Girl," "Nuthin' But Love," "Make Ya Feel Beautiful," "Listen To Ya Heart" and "Ain't No Party."
