THE RETURN, Studdard's long-awaited follow up to his heralded debut album Soulful, is set for release on September 26th. The lead single "Change Me" was produced by the Underdogs, along with the sultry track "Get U Loose." Studdard produced "If Only For One Night," (a remake of the Brenda Russell song which was a hit for Luther Vandross) and co-wrote "I'm Not Happy," "Blow Ya Mind," and "To Tha Crib." The album is rounded out with more superior mid tempo tracks and signature ballads: "The Return (of The Velvet Bear)," "Our Story," "What Tha Business Is," "Rather Just Not Know", "Go Home To Ya Girl," "Nuthin' But Love," "Make Ya Feel Beautiful," "Listen To Ya Heart" and "Ain't No Party." Additional writers and producers include: Scott Storch, Ne-Yo, Brian-Michael Cox, Harold Lilly, Dre & Vidal and others.

Studdard's acclaimed debut album, Soulful, has sold over 1.8 million copies since it's release in 2003 and was recognized with coveted awards and nominations from the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Awards, Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Awards, Billboard Awards, and Teen Choice Awards.
