LOS ANGELES, CA. (BET Networks) -

WHAT: In the most powerful episode yet, the season finale of DMX: SOUL OF A MAN takes viewers inside the mind of X as he hits the lowest point of his life. Unable to discover his purpose on earth, X announces his thoughts of committing suicide, "I have a beautiful wife, beautiful kids, and a career. I'm still not happy. I don't know what my purpose is." When X and Tashira stop for gas they have an inspiring moment. They run into a woman who shares a very heartfelt story with them. She explains that she lost three children and X's music helped her heal and overcome the pain of her loss. Touched by her story, X declares that rapping is something he is blessed to do and will do forever. As the series comes to an end, it appears that X has finally come out of the darkness and into a positive light as viewers glimpse the soul of a man.
