CLEVELAND, (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum) - The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum announced today that Todd Mesek has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Mesek now has responsibility for marketing, media relations, sponsorship, and sales for groups, private events and general admission to the Museum.

"Todd has been a key part of communicating the cultural aspects of our mission for some time now," said Terry Stewart, President and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. "While we are a destination and an important economic engine for Northeast Ohio, it's critical for the world to understand that preserving and interpreting rock music's historical relevance is at the foundation of everything we do."

Mesek joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in 1998 as Marketing Manager and quickly rose to Director of Marketing and later to Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Before joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Mesek worked as an Account Supervisor and Strategic Planner with advertising agencies, including Wyse Advertising and Vantage One Communications.

Mesek is active in the Northeast Ohio community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Advertising Association and the Cleveland State University Marketing Department Advisory Committee. He is also actively involved with the Cleveland Film Society and the Public Relations Society of America. He graduated from the Journalism and Mass Communication School at Kent State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum exists to educate its visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and significance of rock and roll music. The Museum carries out this mission through its efforts to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret this art form.

The Museum is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Wednesdays the Museum is open until 9:00 p.m. Museum admission is $20.00 for adults, $14.00 for seniors (60+), $11 for children (9-12) and children under 8 and Museum members are free.
