Madviolet's Caravan Gaining Momentum

TORONTO, Canada (IRL/Pinnacle label) - MADVIOLET, the popular Toronto duo of BRENLEY MACEACHERN and LISA MACISAAC, launched their second album, the John Reynolds-produced Caravan this July. The new disc is now set for release on September 12, in Canada, on Fontana North and on October 9, in England, on the IRL/Pinnacle label.

The follow up to their award-winning debut, Worry The Jury, features 10 tracks including "Skylight" and the RON SEXSMITH co-write "Thievin' Love". Special guests on the album include Julian Wilson (Grand Drive) Claire Kenny (Indigo Girls) Simon Alpin (Teenage Fanclub) and Fiachna Braonain (Hothouse Flowers, Michelle Shocked).

Following several Canadian summer festivals and club shows, Madviolet will embark on a major tour of the US and the UK opening for Ireland's HOTHOUSE FLOWERS.
