New York, NY (Nurture's Path Healing Arts) - Eliana Gilad, publicly acknowledged at the United Nations for 'helping so many people around the world' with her musical gifts, comes to New York this
September for a special week of healing music dedicated to peace in Israel.
Gilad is an internationally recognized expert in the conscious use of voice and rhythm as natural healing instruments as they were used in ancient times with a unique type of wordless music that bypasses spoken language and reaches the heart. She has performed at the United Nations, where she has been publicly acknowledged for 'helping so many people around the world' and has presented her unique music throughout the United States, Canada, Israel and Europe.
Since the beginning of the Israel-Lebanon war, Gilad has had to evacuate her Voices of Eden Healing Music and Peace Center in Galilee, Israel and stay sequestered in her nearby home. She has spent the time writing of her daily experiences and petitioning for peace. Gilad's book, Quiet in the Eye of the Storm: Living Peace in a War Zone is available for sale with proceeds going toward furthering her work for peace. Her online site: www.peace-in-war.com gives more information on her efforts.
This September will mark a special weekend for peace in Israel. Visiting for the September 21st UN World Peace Day, Gilad will hold a two-day Healing Music for Peace seminar at Nurture's Path Healing Arts, an integrative wellness center based in the heart of Manhattan. Starting with meditations on Friday Sept 22nd, the weekend will culminate Sunday afternoon with a procession walking in silence from the doors of Nurture's Path to Central Park where the UN World Peace Day Vigil is planned. www.vigil4internationalpeace.org.
Nurture's Path founder and holistic practitioner Jean A. Ferraraccio states, 'This is quite a great event in the name of world peace and a time to gather for conscious connection with people all over our planet.'
Gilad says 'A war zone could be in Bloomington, Indiana, the French countryside, or the South Pacific, as much as in the Middle East. I just happened to be in Northern Israel at the moment where the conflict is occurring.'
Nurture's Path Healing Arts offers a range of holistic services and classes in a peaceful setting to clients days, evenings and weekends.
