NEW YORK, NY (Summit Environmental Corporation, Inc.) - With the success of the recently launched hip energy drink Bliss on the West Coast, Summit Environmental Corporation, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SEVT) is now capitalizing on their momentum by co-sponsoring the VIP Video
Music Awards after party this Thursday, 8/31 in New York. Hosted by Wyclef Jean, rapper, reggae artist, producer and member of the superstar hip hop trio The Fugees, the after party will include special guest appearances by
Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and the UK band Panic! At the Disco, who will be performing at the VMAs. A beverage sure to provide bliss, Bliss is a quick and easy way to boost your energy level in a healthy way - and it's about to take hold of the East Coast nightlife scene.
Produced by John Lewis Entertainment Group, Caro Marketing and Icon Entertainment, the VIP after party will be held just following the show at the notoriously cool Duvet Lounge in the Flatiron district of New York City. History Clothing and Sacred Blue will be sponsoring a fashion show in recognition of the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, where a special- edition History tee-shirt will be presented. The live feed of the VMAs is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, with red carpet arrivals beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Bliss is an energy drink made with the purest, highest-quality ingredients. It has no sodium or carbohydrates, natural sugar and caffeine. Summit Environmental acquired the Bliss brand in 2004. Keith Parker, its chief executive officer, is a member of the United States Softball Hall-Of-Fame and was approached to sample and use the product. Since that time, Summit has been selling Bliss institutionally, to professional and semi-professional sports teams around the country.
"We were thrilled to be asked to co-sponsor the VMA after party - a direct result of the positive momentum that began during the product launch last month," said Parker. "The word is out that this is a quality product worthy of large-scale events, and with continued consumer endorsement, we expect there will be many more."
