DETROIT, MI. (2nd Generation Records) - Jay Hussle is as tall as an NBA star ... as handsome as a fashion model ... and as skilled as the best rapper on the charts.

Now this Pontiac native is about to prove it with a Detroit concert featuring tracks from his debut album.
It's called "Man of My Word" and it features several songs produced by Bad Boy Records star Young Lord, who has produced music for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and 50-Cent.

Coming to stores Oct. 26, "Man of My Word" is being released by Detroit's 2nd Generation Records and distributed nationally by Fireworks/Universal Records.
Hussle will showcase his skills on the mic from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on September 2nd at St. Andrew's Hall, 431 E. Congress, downtown Detroit.

BET star Mad Linx from the hit TV show "Rap City The Basement!" will host the show. Also blazing the stage will be rappers K-Deezy, Tone-Tone, Jesse James and Royce Da 5'9".

Hussle has performed with Lloyd Banks and Li'l Scrappy, and appeared on VH1 and BET. Now he's ready to steal the spotlight as a new star in the world of rap.

He plans to do that with his 20-track "Man of My Word." Clubs will soon be jumping with the songs produced by Young Lord. They include "Over There," a hot club beat with a down-South vibe, and "Way You Move," which celebrates the sexy way a girl walks and dances.

Hussle's fans across the country are waiting for the album, after falling in love with his style. Traffic has been booming on his MySpace.com spot since Hussle scored as second runner-up on the VH1/MTV Networks' Freestyle 59 Contest in New York. Even more music fans are hooked on Hussle since he appeared on BET's hit show, "106th & Park." This national following bolsters his hometown popularity in Detroit, where he has dominated the radio rap battles on WJLB FM-98 and appeared on Fox 2 News Morning.

2nd Generation Records is the dream of Kenneth Tyson Jr., a quadriplegic who survived a horrific auto accident 29 years ago. He hopes to fill the void created by the departure of Motown Records from Detroit.
