Sydney, AU (EMI MUSIC AUSTRALIA) - Having returned from a 38 date tour of the USA (including the Warped Festival and their own headline shows) The Living End is currently clocking up the kilometres on the highways of Australia. The band's live show is sharper than ever as fans are witnessing a power packed set each night including tracks from the new, now platinum 'State Of Emergency' album. To spice it up a bit, the band recently conducted a survey on their web site garnering input from their loyal fan base to help create the ultimate set list for the shows. The response was huge and varied so the band has now created a 'punter preferred set which includes covers, tracks from the new album and of course crowd favourites. On September 30, the band will release The Living End - Live at Festival Hall (in Melbourne). Filmed during their May 'State Of Emergency' sold out tour, the DVD features songs covering the band's entire career including crowd favourites - EP Medley, Uncle Harry, Wake Up and Prisoner Of Society and also includes all four videos from the current album. In other news The Living End has been nominated in two categories for this year's ARIA Awards, those being Best Rock Album for 'State Of Emergency' and Best Group. A reminder to fans that Channel [V]'s Confessional Van will be joining the band at two shows on this tour - Melbourne - Palace show on Thursday September 21 and Shelley's Wollongong on Saturday October 14. Be sure to get down there and see if you can grab a confessional out of the band! The Living End 'All States Of Emergency' Tour continues with many more shows to come yet, these guys have to be one of the hardest working bands in the land!. New Album out now called STATE OF EMERGENCY on Capitol through EMI Music features the singles: What's On Your Radio?, Wake Up, Long Live The Weekend, Nothing Lasts Forever.
