NEW YORK, NY (Columbia Records) - Columbia Records will release "A Decade," the definitive collection of biggest hits from Our Lady Peace, the band with more No 1 rock singles in Canada than any other Canadian artist, on November 21, 2006.

"A Decade," the first-ever Our Lady Peace career-spanning studio retrospective, brings together ten year's worth of the band's Top 10 Canadian and U.S. Billboard-charting OLP hits along with two never-before released recordings - "Kiss On The Mouth" and "Better Than Here" - from the band's 2005 "Healthy In Paranoid Times" sessions.

"A Decade" includes the Canadian Top 10 tracks "Where Are You," "Clumsy," "In Repair," "Somewhere Out There," "Innocent," "Thief," "Naveed," "Starseed" and "4 A.M."

"The last ten years for Our Lady Peace have been bedlam," says Our Lady Peace singer Raine Maida. "'A Decade' is a way to document this whirlwind as well as open a new chapter for OLP."

The recipient of numerous Juno Awards (the Canadian Grammys), Our Lady Peace has emerged in the last decade as one of the great rock bands from our neighbors to the north.

Our Lady Peace's first album, "Naveed" (released on Relativity in the U.S. in 1995), generated the band's first hit, "Starseed" (which peaked at No 7 on Billboard's U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and at No 10 on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart). A Billboard No 1 Heatseekers album, "Naveed" went on to sell more than half a million copies worldwide.

The band's second album, the No 1 Top Canadian album "Clumsy," was released in 1997 and has sold over 2.5 million units worldwide in addition to reaching platinum status in the U.S. In addition to the title track (which peaked at No 5 on Billboard's U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart), "Clumsy" introduced the OLP signature songs "Superman's Dead" (Top 15 U.S. Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock Track) and "4A.M."

1999's "Happiness ... Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch," also a No 1 album in Canada, debuted the songs "One Man Army" (Top 15 U.S. Modern Rock Track) and "Is Anybody Home?" (Top 20 U.S. Modern Rock Track). "Spiritual Machines," released in 2000, featured the single, "Life."

Certified RIAA gold four months after its U.S. release in June 2002, "Gravity," the group's fifth studio collection, became the fastest-selling album in the OLP catalog. Entering the Billboard Top 200 at No 9, "Gravity" generated the hits "Innocent" (Top 20 U.S. Modern Rock Track) and the crossover smash "Somewhere Out There" (a Top 10 hit at Modern Rock and Top 40 crossover smash). The band's 2005 album, "Healthy In Paranoid Times," contained the hit "Where Are You."

Our Lady Peace has sold more than 4 million albums in North America and has had six albums debut in the Top 5 on Canadian SoundScan charts. The band's studio albums "Gravity" (2002) and "Spiritual Machines" (2001) are Canadian Double Platinum, "Happiness... Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch" (1999) is Canadian Triple Platinum, "Clumsy" (1997) received a Diamond Certification in Canada while the band's first "Live" DVD, released in 2003, achieved Canadian Double Platinum. Released in late 2005, the band's last studio album, "Healthy In Paranoid Times" has achieved platinum-plus status in Canada. Our Lady Peace has won four Juno Awards and received 20 nominations over the course of the band's career.

Over the course of the past ten years, Our Lady Peace has developed a well-deserved reputation for its riveting live shows. The Hollywood Reporter has called OLP, "a real rock alternative ... guitar rock with forward thinking and nods to the past ... ."

Our Lady Peace has won six MuchMusic Awards including the "People's Choice Award" in 1997, 1998 and 2000. Our Lady Peace launched the 2000 Summersault Festival which toured across the country with a lineup including the Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle and The Smashing Pumpkins.
