NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - A fund has been created in the name of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC, who died in a car accident in Honduras on Thursday (April 25).

Fans, friends, and family wishing to send condolences are asked to - in lieu of flowers - make a donation to the Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes Fund c/o The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, Special Donations, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 33309-2130. The Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes Fund should be written into the memo section of checks sent to the foundation.

A statement from TLC's label spokesperson at Arista Records says, "Lisa's mother, Mrs. Wanda Lopes, and her entire family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the thousands of fans that have sent messages of condolences to them at this tragic time."

As previously reported, funeral proceedings are set for Thursday (May 2) at 11 a.m. ET at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Ga., outside of Lopes hometown of Atlanta. Television and still cameras will not be allowed at the church.

As for the state of TLC, member Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas told the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper that she and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins do not plan to replace Lopes in the group.
