LITHONIA, Georgia (TLC Fans) - Thousands of mourners gathered in Lithonia, Georgia yesterday to pay their respects to the late TLC star Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes.

Close to 10,000 fans and friends, including Lopes' former bandmates Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas, congregated at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church for the two-hour service.

According to MTV News, Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Babyface, Timbaland, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Da Brat, Monica, and Arista Records chief L.A. Reid were amongst the thousands paying their respects.

A video montage of Lopes was played at the beginning of the service, whilst gospel R&B duo Mary Mary performed a rendition of 'Crazy', in honour of Lopes.

L.A. Reid, Lopes' aunt Pamela Young, and her brother Ronald Lopes all spoke at the service, as did Lisa's mother Wanda, who recited a poem she had written for her daughter before her death last week.

A private interment, attended by family and friends, took place shortly after the service.

Lopes, 30, died from fatal head injuries following a car crash in Honduras last Thursday. Eight other passengers survived the accident.
