PALO ALTO, Calif. (BIX/ Bix.com) - Bix, the first user generated online competition system that allows anyone to create, enter, and judge a talent competition, today announced two new contests in conjunction with multi-platinum selling hip-hop artist, The Game. The company also announced the winner of its "Bix Second Chance Auditions" contest, Heidi Webb of East Longmeadow, Mass., awarding her a $50,000 prize.

In conjunction with the release of his new album on November 14th, The Game is partnering with Bix to give aspiring stars the chance to break into the hip-hop world. The Game is holding two open casting calls on Bix.com that give aspiring dancers and freestyle rappers the chance to appear in a music video and on The Game's next mix tape, respectively. The Game's "Video Girl" and "Freestyle Battle" competitions are both free to enter (official rules available at https://www.bix.com/thegame).

"At casting calls, you know you're not seeing all of the talent that's really out there," said hip-hop artist, The Game. "These contests on Bix open it up to anyone looking to show off their skills and a chance to make it on my video or mix tape. I can't wait to see what people can do."

The "Video Girl Contest" requires contestants to submit a video of an original dance performance to one of five Bix "booty shaker" beats, created exclusively for Bix by notable DJ Skee. The competition runs until December 1, 2006, when the top five contestants, based on votes by the Bix community, will move on to the finals. The Game will select his favorite performer no later than December 10, 2006, to be featured in his next music video.

Aspiring hip-hop artists can enter The Game's "Freestyle Battle" where contestants are asked to submit a video of their best 16-bar freestyle rap performance. The first round of the competition will run until January 1, 2007, when the top five contestants, based on votes by the Bix community, will move on to the finals. The Game will select his favorite performer no later than January 8, 2007, to be featured in his next mix tape.

"We are thrilled to be working with The Game, one of the top artists in hip-hop, who believes that everyone deserves a chance at fame," said Mike Speiser, co-founder and CEO of Bix. "At the same time, we are also excited to announce the winner of the 'Bix Second Chance Auditions' and award Heidi Webb the $50,000 grand prize."

Webb, a very talented singer from East Longmeadow, Mass., unsuccessfully auditioned for American Idol Season 6 in New Jersey earlier this year. The Bix "Second Chance Auditions" proved successful for Heidi who received the most public votes and will receive $50,000 for her rendition of If You're Not the Only One by Daniel Bedingfield.

"To have been chosen as the winner over so many other amazingly talented people is such a great honor, for which I am extremely thankful," said Bix "Second Chance Auditions" winner, Webb.

Bix has enjoyed over 500,000 unique visitors since the site launched on August 8, 2006. Usage is continuing at a rapid pace, demonstrating that the public has a great appetite for online talent discovery.
