tobyMac Brings Back Winter Wonder Slam Tour

Brentwood, TN. (Sparrow Records) - tobyMac, supporting his recently RIAA gold-certified sophomore set WELCOME TO DIVERSE CITY, will headline his second consecutive Winter Wonder Slam Tour this holiday season with duly diverse special guests Hawk Nelson, The Afters, Family Force 5, and Ayiesha Woods.

Hitting sixteen markets from November 24 through December 16, the Winter Wonder Slam Tour will again support the work of the United States Marine Corps in its annual Toys For Tots campaign. The mission of this outreach is to provide a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas; concertgoers will be encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift to the event. tobyMac's 2005 Winter Wonder Slam trek set a Toys For Tots record for the most gifts collected on an artist tour to date.

Commenting on the show itself, tobyMac says, 'During the holidays, everyone needs a break from studying for exams and Christmas shopping. I wanted to put together a diverse tour that rocks in many musical directions but always points to One. The Winter Wonder Slam Tour does have a Christmas theme but not to worry-every band will be playing their hits and doing it the way they do!'

The tour will give tobyMac a chance to share his new single, 'Made To Love,' with crowds throughout the United States. The song hits Christian pop, contemporary, and rock radio stations October 27 and will be featured on his third yet-to-be-titled album, scheduled to release in February 2007 from ForeFront Records.
