NASHVILLE, TN. (Dawn Records) - Dawn Records recording artist Rhonda Towns has been invited to join stars
Julie Roberts,
Trent Tomlinson and Janie Fricke, among others, to walk the runway at the Rhinestones and Roses Fashion Show scheduled for Sunday, November 5, as part of 'Nashville Celebrates Country'-a series of CMA events leading up to the 40th Annual CMA Awards Show.
Rhonda is no stranger to the spotlight. A professional fashion model and rising country music star, Rhonda Towns has appeared in television commercials for Maxwell House, Toyota and Bounce, in print advertisements for Dillard's, K-Mart and for designers Lori Weidner (Canada) and Sandra Salcedo (Texas). She is a frequent model for Dillard's and RebaWear.
Appropriately fitting for the soiree, Rhonda will represent Manuel Designs wearing a two-piece gabardine skirt and jacket in fuchsia; an ensemble that is covered in rhinestones and embroidered in applique' lame' roses. Rhonda will carry her weight in gems-the designer threads weigh nearly forty pounds and the outfit is valued at over $7,500.
Under a separate showing, Rhonda will also model in Tres Outlaw Boots; the footwear has been price tagged for as much as $50,000.
Rhonda, other country music celebrities and renowned industry representatives will showcase Manuel's finest fashions-newly designed items as well as clothes previously worn by country music legends, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash-at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville.
Rhinestones and Roses is a historic fashion show event held for radio, sponsor and television trip winners. Manuel's designs can be seen on Brooks & Dunn, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and actors John Travolta, Ethan Hawke and Billy Bob Thornton, among others.
