Music Award Show) - Organizers of the 12th Annual Inspirational Country
Music Award Show (ICM's) announce that Country Legend and Blue Hat Recording Artist, Charlie Daniels, will open the 2006 award show. Charlie will perform Preachin', Prayin', Singin' on the live award show being held at the historic Acuff Theatre, November 9th, 2006, at 7 PM CST. Andy Andrews, the host of the show, will bring his warm, intelligent, side-splitting observational humor to the microphone for one of the most inspiring nights of music.
Others scheduled to perform on the network show include: Randy Owen of Alabama, Jimmy Wayne, Blue County, Brian Littrell, The Fox Brothers, Tommy Brandt, Chucky Nelms, Gayla Earlene, Last Light Band, Mike Manual, Melanie Walker, Dennis Agajanian, The Peasall Sisters and Multi-Platinum Country Group, Lonestar, who will perform a single from their recently released album 'Mountains'.
In addition to the star-studded list of performers, some notable presenters confirmed at this time will include: MCA Recording Artist, Julie Roberts, Lance Bass and Katie Cook from CMT, Barbara Fairchild, Blue County, Brian Littrell, Del Way, Rich McCready, Clint Miller, Mary James , Nannette Vaughn, Jim Black, host of syndicated radio show, "Solid Gospel Sundays", Charlie Monk, Mayor of Music Row and Sirius Radio Host as well as Margo Smith, Opry Legend, with daughter Holly, plus Nashville's own star of the current movie 'How To Eat Fried Worms', Luke Benward.

The Inspirational Country Music Convention is a yearly event that draws music fans, broadcast media (radio, print, and TV) and the industries top artists to Nashville to showcase music and to discuss industry related issues. The week will culminate with The Inspirational Country Music Awards Show. The Award Show will be held November 9, 2006 and over 80 artists will perform throughout the week at the Acuff Theatre. The 12th annual show will be nationally televised on the Gospel Music Channel, with several re-broadcasts. In addition, WSM-AM will air the show live on 650 AM and it will be available on CMT Loaded for one year.
