New York, NY. (RoadRunner Records) - Blabbermouth reports that According to AOL Music, percussionist, Shawn " Clown" Crahan from Slipknot recently gave the following piece of advice to fans who are planning on dressing up as a member of the masked metal band for Halloween: "If you're gonna go as us, be careful," he told AOL Music. "We can be a hard pill to swallow. If you're wearing something that's Slipknot and you go to a house, you're gonna get a different reaction than if you're going as Bela Lugosi. We deal with reality a little bit more than Bela Lugosi does, or a werewolf or some mummy character." Clown himself is partial to liquid latex, which he uses to create a face that looks like it's been blown up. There's a practical inspiration for the costume, he said: "I used to weld for Slipknot." Slipknot's new DVD, Voliminal: Inside the Nine, is scheduled for release on December 5. Go check out some new Slipknot pictures by clicking HERE. Official Slipknot ringtones are also available from your mobile provider.
