LOS ANGELES, CA (Atlantic Records) - Making this the rock comeback story of the year, Los Angeles' Buckcherry's latest album, "15" (Eleven Seven Music/Atlantic Records), has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales exceeding 500,000 copies. The band's first studio effort in four years was released in the U.S. in April 2006 with an explosive debut at No 2 on the Independent Album Chart, No 9 on Top Alternative Albums, as well as No 48 on the Billboard 200. The out-of-the-box success of "15" gained the attention of Atlantic Records who immediately added them to the roster.

"Fifteen's" sizzling first single, "Crazy Bitch," bulleted to the top of the rock charts and remains one of the most played rock songs of the year. "Crazy Bitch" is the No 1 most downloaded rock ring tone (and has been for more than a month according to Billboard). The current single, "Next 2 You," is now climbing the active rock charts and the fan inspired video directed by P.R. Brown has just been added at VH1.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, Buckcherry burst onto the national scene in 1999 with the release of their self-titled debut album. The critically acclaimed Grammy-nominated set scored such Modern Rock smash hits as "Lit Up," "Check Your Head," and "For The Movies," while fans and industry insiders alike celebrated the band's refreshingly direct, no-holds-barred return to pure rock 'n' roll. In the summer of 2001, Buckcherry released "TIME BOMB," which was followed by a stint opening for one of their long time heroes, AC/DC.

Buckcherry is Josh Todd (vocals), Keith Nelson (guitar), Jimmy Ashhurst (bass), Stevie D. (guitar) and Xavier Muriel (drums). For more information visit www.buckcherry.com.
