Musical Group the Pet Shop Boys to Sign Copies of New CD and Book at Borders(R) in San Francisco

What: Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe of the Pet Shop Boys sign copies of their latest CD, "Fundamental" and their new book, "Pet Shop Boys Catalogue."

Why: Committed to providing entertainment and knowledge to each of its communities, Borders offers customers the opportunity to meet their favorite authors and musicians in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With the group on a domestic U.S. tour supporting the release of the CD "Fundamental," their career-spanning retrospective 2-CD set "PopArt: The Hits" and the release of the retrospective book, "Pet Shop Boys Catalogue," fans of the Pet Shop Boys will have the opportunity to meet the musical duo in an intimate bookstore setting and be among the first to have the chance to have the CD and book autographed.

Additional Information: To ensure the Pet Shop Boys are able to meet all of the fans attending this event, no photographs are allowed. No items other than the book "Pet Shop Boys Catalogue" and the CDs "Fundamental" and "PopArt" will be autographed. They will be unable to personalize their message when autographing books. No memorabilia, books about the Pet Shop Boys, DVDs, CDs or other recordings by the Pet Shop Boys, will be signed.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 6 at 9 a.m., 300 wristbands will be given out to customers who have purchased a copy of the CD titles "Fundamental," "PopArt: The Hits" and the book "Pet Shop Boys Catalogue." There is a limit of three autographed items per wristband. Wristbands will be given out on a first come, first served basis and will offer customers a place in line, but do not guarantee a chance to meet the Pet Shop Boys. Copies of the book and the CDs, including the deluxe edition of "Fundamental" will be available for purchase at Borders stores.
