Minneapolis, MN (K102 Radio) -— Today˘s Country & All-Time Favorites K102 / KEEY-FM a Clear Channel radio station partnered with Country Music stars Montgomery Gentry for a special concert event at the Myth Nightclub on Thursday, November 2, 2006 to benefit The Diabetes Institute for Immunology and Transplantation at University of Minnesota (https://www.diabetesinstitute.org/.)

The event raised $29,440.00 through tickets sales and large corporate sponsors including Denny Hecker˘s Auto Connection. “We are pleased to sponsor such a great event for this worthy cause.” said Denny Hecker, President of Denny Hecker˘s Auto Connection.

“The Myth was the perfect place for this event-- close up and personal with Montgomery Gentry, and they hit it out of the park.” said Gregg Swedberg, Operations Manager of Clear Channel Radio in Minneapolis . “Eddie and Troy are long-time friends with our K102 family, and it's because of our great family of listeners that we were able to help this important cause. Country listeners are the best listeners!”
