(Sparrow Records) -- Leading the annual blockbuster events strongest line-up to date, Steven Curtis Chapman will headline the Winter Jam 2007 Tour Spectacular along with Jeremy Camp, hosting artist NewSong, and other guests including Sanctus Real and Hawk Nelson. The 34-city tour begins January 12 in Johnson City, Tennessee. Now in its twelfth year, the Winter Jam is famous for its high volume of family entertainment and super low ticket prices. This years admission fee is just $10 at the door, and that includes the five acts mentioned above, plus new singer Britt Nicole, speaker Tony Nolan, presidential impersonator John Morgan, and a must-see fire breathing exhibition. There are also prizes to be won; an electric Zap scooter will be given away to one lucky winner at each show. About 250,000 people attended last years Winter Jam Tour. “Winter Jam will be the ultimate jam session with amazing artists like Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp headlining the show,” says NewSong member Eddie Carswell. “I can think of no more rewarding way to kick-off 2007 than being part of such a phenomenal, entertaining and inspiring concert experience. It is exciting to have a roster of artists that share in the big spiritual vision we have for this tour.” Sure to draw a growing number of fans, this Winter Jam will mark the first lengthy stateside tour from Chapman in quite some time. The Grammy and all-time leading Dove Award winner and international adoption advocate plans to release a new album in 2007.
