Los Angeles, CA (MusiCares Foundation) - On December 7, Indie 103.1 and recording artists Camp Freddy and Lily Allen will team up to raise funds for the MusiCares MAP FundSM, an organization which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation.

The MusiCares MAP Fund has helped so many of our friends and this concert is a way to give back to an organization that really cares about music people. Indie 103.1's "Wreck the Halls" concert, presented by HELIO, will take place at Avalon Hollywood at 1735 N. Vine in Hollywood and will feature live performances from Camp Freddy, Lily Allen, Drive A and an opening band selected by an on-air contest on Indie 103.1.

All artists performing at the concert have committed to donate their time and performance energy to raise money for MusiCares Map Fund.

The all-star group Camp Freddy is headed by Billy Morrison (The Cult/Circus Diablo), Dave Navarro (Janes Addiction/The Panic Channel), Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver), Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver), Donovan Leitch (son of legendary folk singer Donovan) and Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction/Alanis Morrisette). "Camp Freddy is not a band, but it is also way more than a jam session. Camp Freddy is an occasional happening, a freak of Hollywood nature. What happens when we get together and play is anyone's guess", says Morrison. "The MusiCares MAP Fund has helped so many of our friends and this concert is a way to give back to an organization that really cares about music people."

Lily Allen is a British pop-rock sensation whose first two singles, "LDN" and "Smile" have been number-one on the U.K. charts and huge hits on Indie 103.1. Lily has been selling out shows worldwide, including a date in Los Angeles in October. Her debut album "Allright, Still" will be released in January 2007.

"We're excited to throw a great party and to raise money for a cause like the MusiCares MAP Fund", said Indie 103.1 Program Director Michael Steele. "Anyone who has seen Camp Freddy before knows that it's always different and always rocks. And to have Rolling Stone Magazine's No 1 New Artist Lily Allen on the bill is just too sweet. Thanks to all the artists donating their time and talent for 'Wreck The Halls'."

In addition, recent Project Runway winner and MusiCares MAP Fund supporter Jeffrey Sebelia is designing a special tee shirt to commemorate the concert.

Established in 1989 by The Recording Academy, MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares' services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community. For more information, please visit www.musicares.com.

With the acquisition of MAP in September 2004, MusiCares developed the MusiCares MAP Fund as a pool of resources set aside specifically to address addiction recovery and sober living needs. Named for the Musicians Assistance Program, founded by longtime musician and addiction recovery activist Buddy Arnold, the MusiCares MAP Fund represents the joint goal of MAP and MusiCares to provide members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial circumstances.
