(WARRIOR RECORDS) - Rock legend Eddie Money is ready to take things back to the days in which he grew up to show his kids– and other music-loving kids of all ages out there – why they call the songs he recently recorded, "classics." His new album, WANNA GO BACK, hits stores on March 13, 2007. It pays homage to the rock of the 1960's. Its music that 15 year old Eddie Mahoney and his band, The Grapes of Wrath, played in their live set back in the day. The great Ray Charles hit "You Don't Know Me" is the first single off the record. Other tracks include: "Good Lovin," "Build Me Up Buttercup," "Jenny Take A Ride," "Mockingbird" and more. They're just a few of the many feel-good tracks he recorded for Wanna Go Back which is his 14th release to date.

All of the tracks on WANNA GO BACK are faithful to the originals and Eddie wouldn't have it any other way. Members of Tower of Power, Starship, Gregg Allman Band, Cold Blood and the Etta James horn players were all involved in the recordings. The album was produced by Randy Forrester, Eddie's keyboard player, and released thru his company, BIG DEAL PRODUCTIONS, Inc. and WARRIOR RECORDS, to be distributed by UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP DISTRIBUTION. The close knit touring group is rounded out by longtime guitarist, Tommy Girvin, bassist Lee Beverly and drummer Chris Frazier.

One of the things that make Eddie Money a true Rock icon is that throughout his career he has always paid tribute to his fans. "I've probably signed every copy of every album I've made," says Eddie of his personal touch with those who love his music. Eddie's fan base bridges many gaps including the people who loved his early albums, their kids and even celebrities. This is only part of what keeps this working class rock hero at the forefront of music today.

Further heroism is shown in his charitable efforts. He performs at fundraisers for local schools every year. He also donates a portion of his merchandise proceeds to the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation. And in 2007, Eddie will team up with Warrior Custom Golf Clubs and U.P.S. to present the "Eddie Money Celebrity Shootout", which will raise funds for multiple charities.

Eddie Money's career has a mythical quality. He brings it all together by showing us that Eddie Money, for all he's been through personally and professionally, always comes out a winner. His daughter, Jesse Money, who sings on the record and tours with the band says, "My younger brother Joe, is a straight-A student, maybe Dad will get a doctor in the family yet!"
