Prince of Tha South (Noo Day Entertainment /
Music World Entertainment), tomorrow December 5th. In addition to his anticipated debut the 14 year-old son of hip hop, who recently wrapped a national tour with
Chris Brown and Ne-Yo, is preparing for the launch of his new
Music Choice TV show "YG TV." Featuring J Xavier's interviews with the likes of
Nick Cannon and Kobe Bryant, "YG TV" is scheduled to debut in mid-December and will air in over 40 million households.
With a slew of special guest appearances by hometown heroes Mike Jones and Lil KeKe, as well as the legendary George Clinton, Young Prince of Tha South is garnering attention for the single ""I Love My Music", which was recently featured as the new joint on BET's 106th & Park. In addition to the video's debut on BET, J Xavier will appear on Good Morning America, Today in New York and ABC News throughout the month of December.
J Xavier, whose voice and lyrical style was featured on the Wal-Mart "Back to School" commercial, has been stirring a buzz in the hip-hop community. His recent Music Choice in-studio performance has been requested a staggering 17,000 times becoming the No 2 most requested performance second only to Hinder. MSNMusic.com ( https://music.msn.com/music/onestowatch ) recently chose J Xavier and Young Prince of Tha South as "One To Watch", and his current tracks including the single, "I Love My Music" have already been played over 400,000 times on MySpace.com (www.myspace.com/liljx).
In addition to his entertainment endeavors, the charismatic teen is also a spokesperson for the World Youth Foundation Anti-Tobacco Campaign and the National Black Caucus, becoming the voice of a positive youth.
