NASHVILLE, TN (Aspirion Records) - National recording artist and songstress Kathie Baillie delivers a holiday message all her own with her live solo recording of "The Christmas Song."

From Aspirion Records comes one of the warmest musical messages of the Holiday Season. Kathie Baillie offers her personal, live rendition of the most recognizable holiday song in the world so 'up close and personal' that listeners will feel like she's right there in their own living room. Touching every emotion the holiday season can bring, Kathie's extraordinary delivery warms the heart yet stirs to chill.

Upon an impromptu invitation, Kathie performed 'The Christmas Song' at a venue in Portland, Oregon. 'I had never performed this song live before. We received a special request and I sang it for the first time with my keyboard player, Jody Nardone, accompanying me,' Kathie said. 'I was so pleased that we recorded it that night; The Christmas Song' has always been my favorite of all holiday songs. I remember when I was little, my mom and dad always played Bing Crosby's version, but my all-time favorite version was from the Johnny Mathis' Christmas album in the 60's. I still play it every Christmas and now it's a family favorite,' she added.

Formerly of Baillie and the Boys (RCA Records), Kathie Baillie's vocals were initially and quickly recognized with the release of the trio's first single entitled 'Oh Heart' which became the group's first top ten hit and their trademark song. Baillie and the Boys followed with five more albums to score a total of 10 Top 10 country hits-many of which were co-written by Kathie. The release of the Christmas single is a celebration two-fold to introduce Kathie as a solo artist with the Christmas single and the upcoming release of Kathie's first solo project entitled LOVE'S FUNNY THAT WAY. The CD will be released in February 2007 under the Aspirion Records imprint. Kathie hopes to complete an entire CD filled with her Holiday favorites in the coming year.

In addition to country radio across the nation (CDX Vol 409/Nov. 2006), 'The Christmas Song'-Kathie Baillie LIVE will be released to all digital outlets, including iTunes, MP3.com, Live365.com, Amped, and e-music; it can be heard on internet sites around the world.*
