New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ www.anniedinerman.com) - Annie Dinerman, a 2006 Songwriters Hall of Fame award winner, is represented by her song, 'One Planet At A Time', on a new compilation CD released by The Public Domain Foundation. From over 170 submissions, 11 songs were chosen to appear on the CD which salutes songs of social concern. As a finalist in the competition, Ms. Dinerman performed her song, 'One Planet At A Time', in June at the Threadgill Theatre as part of the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival in Kerrville, Texas. The song is a witty look at the cost to our planet when our tax dollars are spent in space. Annie Dinerman received the Abe Olman Award for Excellence in Songwriting from Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, 2006. The Public Domain Foundation is a project of Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul and Mary) and is funded by the royalties for 'The Wedding Song'. The Foundation supports artists who create music for social change.
