LOS ANGELES (BWR Public Relations) - Kenneth Cole Fragrances announces that on January 25, 2007, Jon
Bon Jovi together with designer Kenneth Cole will host "R.S.V.P. to HELP," a fundraiser to benefit the homeless. R.S.V.P. Kenneth Cole is the new fragrance for men distributed by Coty Prestige. It is part of an ongoing collaboration between Cole and
Bon Jovi to raise awareness about homeless issues.
The event begins at 7:30PM and will take place at the Tribeca Rooftop located at 2 Desbrosses Street in New York City. The evening will kick off with comedy by celebrity host, comedian Lewis Black, who is best known for his regular appearances on Comedy Central's The Daily Show. Lewis Black's recent projects include "Accepted," "Farce of the Penguins," "Unaccompanied Minors" and an HBO special entitled "Lewis Black: Red, White, & Screwed."
Additional highlights will include a silent and live auction of exciting one-of-a-kind luxury items. Celebrity guests and VIPs will be among the 500 guests that are expected to attend. Jon Bon Jovi will take the stage and perform an acoustic set, which will be followed by a very private VIP party that will take place on the rooftop.
100 % of proceeds from the night will go directly to benefit three (3) very special charities. They are: the international non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity; the national non-profit organization HELP USA, and the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation.
"I am honored to collaborate with Jon on such a heart-warming project as R.S.V.P. to HELP. We have the same vision of helping those less fortunate and the partnership just works, says Kenneth Cole. "This night will be very special to a lot of people." This is the second charitable venture that Kenneth and Jon have worked on together, the first being a collection of co-designed jackets with proceeds also benefiting the homeless.
Catherine Walsh, Senior Vice President of American Fragrances for Coty Prestige says, "Jon Bon Jovi's charismatic persona embodies the spirit of the R.S.V.P.Kenneth Cole fragrance collection - masculine, empowered, and inspired. As a celebrity who utilizes their place in the spotlight to help others, his involvement with the Kenneth Cole brand is what R.S.V.P.Kenneth Cole is all about: responding to the cause and giving back."
