NEW YORK (J. Lo Fans Website) - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' search for love has not led him back to his ex, Jennifer Lopez .

The rap mogul, whose current hit is "I Need a Girl," had been mentioned in some reports as the cause of Lopez' separation from her husband of eight months, dancer Cris Judd. Combs issued a statement Monday denying those rumors. "Contrary to reports, Mr. Combs and Ms. Lopez are not together. However, he wishes her well during this difficult time," said his publicist, Nathalie Moar.

Combs and Lopez had a high-profile romance for two years before breaking up in February 2001. She married Judd, one of her background dancers, seven months later.
A source confirmed on Friday that Lopez and Judd had split, and said no third party was involved. There are no immediate plans for divorce.
