Justin Timberlake continues to break new ground as the first major recording artist to premiere his new video "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" exclusively on The iTunes Store (https://www.itunes.com). On Friday morning, February 9th, fans worldwide will be able to own the complete video before its broadcast on TV or streamed on-line anywhere else.
The cinematic video, which also features Scarlett Johannson, is currently being teased on-line by a :30 trailer. Based on the number of streams of the trailer over the weekend at https://www.JustinTimberlake.com alone, demand for "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" is already at a fever pitch. Fans everywhere can get the groundbreaking complete 9:20 Directors Cut of the video only on iTunes at first. iTunes has a 48 hour exclusive on the video which is the first time any entertainment video has debuted on iTunes before being available anywhere else! On the broadcast side, MTV will be the first to introduce the video of "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" on TV during their Red Carpet TRL GRAMMY special, Sunday February 11th. MTV will begin teasing the video trailer tomorrow and will have the full on-line streaming premiere on MTV.com. The video will be widely available everywhere else on-line beginning on February 12th.
"What Goes Around ... Comes Around" was helmed by one of the industry's most prolific directors, Sam Bayer, who has worked with Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, Aerosmith and on Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams. The video was written by Nick Cassavetes who has directed several films, including John Q, The Notebook, and Alpha Dog.
Currently Justin Timberlake is on his worldwide FutureSex/LoveShow tour and is knocking out audiences and critics alike. He is scheduled to perform solo on February 11th at the GRAMMYS and with the winner from the "My Grammy Moment" contest and also recently announced that he will be hosting the Kids Choice Awards on March 31st.
