LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Marcia Migét Official Website/ www.mee-j.com) - On Sunday 12 February North Bay saxophonist Marcia Migét of Miraflores Music's is performing with Bay Area composer and Jazz trombonist's, Wayne Wallace's Rhythm and Rhyme music from newest project the Reckless Search for Beauty at the Jazz School in Berkeley, CA.

A consummate performer Ms. Migét has played at numerous venues and projects, most recently on Dr. Anthony Brown's Rhapsodies with the Asian American Orchestra. A Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, her performance pedigree includes such notables as Carlos Santana, Freddy Redd, Larry Ridley, Frank Foster, Charlie Rouse, Jimmy Cobb, Buddy Baker, Orestes Vilarto, Kenny Barron, Pete Escovedo, Donald Byrd, Anthony Brown and the Asian American Orchestra, Carl Perazzo, Dimitri Methany, Phish, Wayne Wallace, John Santos, John Handy, Chick Corea, Kenny Loggins, Georgia Kelly, Phoebe Snow, Jaimeo and Dartanyan Brown (to name a select few).

A multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and educator, Ms. Migét performs multiple genres nationally in venues from arenas to session work. 2006 saw her at the Fillmore Jazz Festival with David Hardiman's San Francisco Big Band Allstars; in 2003, 2004 and 2005 with the AAJC (African American Jazz Caucus) Dance Band at the International Association of Jazz Educators' Convention; as Featured Artist in 2004 performing with the AAJC/HBCU (Historically Black Colleges' & Universities) Allstar Big Band; was the only female saxophonist with Anthony Brown and the Asian American Orchestra playing the Monterey, Stern Grove and Fillmore Jazz Festivals. She has been the featured performer with the James Cleveland Choir at the Gospel Music Workshop of America, in a 2003 AAJC Jam Session Tribute to Oscar Peterson at the Toronto International Association of Jazz Educators' Convention. She has performed on numerous television soundtracks for composer John Lawrence and Three In One Production, Inc.
