Santa Monica, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Recording Academy) - WHO: GRAMMY Award-winning and -nominated professionals, Recording Academy-affiliated industry specialists, 100 music students from across the United States (ages 15 - 19), and Citrus College faculty.

WHAT: 3rd Annual GRAMMY Camp - This program will offer 100 selected students ages 15 - 19 a 17-day interactive residential summer music experience. This unique opportunity focuses on all aspects of commercial music, with instruction by industry professionals in an immersive creative environment with cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art facility. The program will explore 15 music career tracks: Audio Engineering; Film Scoring; Music Production; Video Game Music; Music Journalism; and performance tracks in DJ/Remixing; Keyboard; Guitar; Bass; Drums; Percussion; Saxophone; Trumpet; Trombone and Songwriting. All tracks culminate in media projects, CD recordings and showcase performances. GRAMMY Camp is held at the Citrus College Entertainment Technology Complex and other venues throughout Los Angeles, Calif., with instruction by the college faculty, GRAMMY Award-winning and nominated professionals and industry specialists associated with The Recording Academy. The curriculum explores the creative process and engages students in the technical aspects of creating, performing and recording, while emphasizing new and emerging music technologies.
