John Ralston Announces 2007 Tour Making SXSW Debut

NEW YORK (Vagrant Records) - On March 2nd, singer/songwriter John Ralston will kick off his first tour of 2007. The South Florida-native is leaving the snowbirds behind and putting chains on the van for a winter tour that includes his first appearance at SXSW on March 16th.

Harp Magazine described Ralston's debut, Needle Bed (6/6/06, Vagrant), by claiming it sounds like "Brian Wilson's teenage basement demos to God." His live show is a must see, and he has gained a broad fan base by playing with bands such as the Get Up Kids, Dashboard Confessional, New Amsterdams, Ben Lee, Rooney, New Found Glory (to name just a few), and by playing the annual Bamboozle festival in New Jersey.

Keep an ear out for some new songs in the set list, as Ralston has fervently been working on material for his sophomore effort for Vagrant since December. Writing and recording will have to revolve around Ralston's busy touring schedule, as a West coast April tour with Say Anything and label-mates Saves The Day has also been confirmed- see dates below.
