Its A Sell Out!

New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/Virgin Records) - Tickets for this year's V Festival sponsored by Virgin Mobile have been snapped up. Tickets went on sale at 9am this morning and in outstanding time, both Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire SOLD OUT. The festival takes place over the weekend of 18-19th August 2007.

V Festival Directors, Bob Angus and Simon Moran comment:

'We are absolutely overwhelmed that we have sold over 150,000 tickets this quickly! It really is testament to the fantastic line-up - to have eight of the top nine artists in the current album chart, with exception of Take That– who will no doubt have their moment tomorrow when their tour tickets go on sale!'
