It is estimated that in this week alone, each hour someone will be newly diagnosed with the disease. Clay has lived with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), the most common form of MS, for eight years. His personal experience with this potentially devastating autoimmune disease, which affects the central nervous system, has inspired him to use his voice not only to reach country music fans – but the hundreds of thousands of people living with MS and their loved ones across the country.
When Clay was first diagnosed with RRMS at age 26, his biggest fear was that the disease would rob him of an active lifestyle that was so important to him. Now, eight years later, he continues to record new albums, perform to sold-out crowds, ride horses and run on the beach with his daughters. He has become well known with over 30 Billboard hits, 11 No 1 hits including, 'Live Until I Die,' If I Could Make A Living,' 'What's It To You,' Rumor Has It,' 'Then What?,' 'Live, Laugh, Love,' 'The Chain Of Love,' and more. Recent hits 'A Few Questions' and 'I Can't Sleep' on his latest release have helped sustain Walker's stardom.
Walker's new project Fall for Asylum/Curb Records featuring the new single 'Fore She Was Momma' will be released on April 17th.
