(Top40 Charts/ Full Sail Real World Education) - Full Sail Real World Education is proud to announce that 1990 Recording Arts graduate, Phil Tan, was awarded a GRAMMY of his very own at the 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards that aired live February 11, 2007 on CBS. Tan won for serving as a Mix Engineer in the Best Rap Album category for Ludacris' album, Release Theory.

Tan worked on a total of 14 GRAMMY-nominated projects this year. Joining Tan in the nominations were Full Sail Recording Arts graduates, Danny Cheung and Padraic Kerin. Cheung received a nomination for his work on Mary J. Blige's single, "Be Without You," nominated for Record of the Year. Kerin was nominated for Album of the Year for his work on Justin Timberlake's album, FutureSex/LoveSounds.

This year, a remarkable 101 graduates from Full Sail were involved in the production of 79 individual projects nominated for a GRAMMY Award in 66 separate categories. In addition, for 12 out of the last 14 years, a Full Sail graduate has worked on every GRAMMY-winning Album of the Year including: Norah Jones, Come Away With Me, OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, and Genius Loves Company by Ray Charles.
